Star Wars hero Ewan McGregor hails pies from hometown baker as the 'Pie of all Pies'

THE Obi-Wan Kenobi actor took to social media to tell his Instagram fans the Force is strong with Campbell’s Bakers.

STAR WARS legend Ewan McGregor has given a Scots baker the best endorsement in the universe.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi actor has told his 117,000 Instagram fans that Campbell’s Bakers in his hometown of Crieff, Perthshire, make the “Pie of all Pies”.

He posted a snap of a Scotch pie adding the caption: “Ahh.... the Pie of all Pies. The King!”

 

 

 

Scottish actor Ewan McGregor OBE took time out from a family trip to visit Rachel House Children's Hospice in Kinross run by CHAS.

 

 

His fans responded. Ropopics said: “I haven’t been to Scotland in 10 years and that makes me want to jump on a plane. Damn you.”

Bakery owner Iain Campbell said: “Ewan usually pops in any time he is back in Scotland to pick some up, and his brother and dad are regular customers too.”

During his trip home, Ewan took time to visit delighted kids at Rachel House hospice in Kinross-shire.
